NAD+

/Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide/

What is NAD?

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide or NAD, is a co-enzyme that is essential for all cellular processes in the body. It plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in energy metabolism and cellular repair. It exists in two forms: NAD+ (oxidized form) and NADH (reduced form).

In its oxidized form/ NAD+, it helps cells produce energy by facilitating the conversion of food into usable energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). NAD+ is also involved in DNA repair, regulating cell aging, and maintaining proper functioning of the body's systems.

Due to its vital role in cellular function, NAD+ levels are often linked to aging, as levels naturally decline over time. This has led to interest in NAD+ supplementation and therapies aimed at boosting NAD+ to support energy, cognitive function, and overall health.

Why IV NAD+?

IV therapy offers rapid and direct delivery of nutrients into the blood stream, bypassing the digestive system. This provides full bioavailability, rapid availability and exact dosage delivery compared to oral supplementation. IV fluid also assists with receiving hydration which is important for overall health.

  • Boosting energy levels and counteracting fatigue

  • Supporting your circadian rhythm and sleep

  • Supporting and maintaining your immune system

  • Preventing insulin resistance in body tissues

A Vitamin push following IV NAD+ treatment and encouraged, which includes Amino Acids, B Complex and Magnesium Sulphate. Maintenance treatment will vary from a few weeks to months depending on the individual

IV NAD+ is contraindicated for those with Liver, Kidney or Heart disease as well as in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
